Another quickie, please could you look at the pictures of the same chased and repousse silver pendant and kindly let me know which finish you prefer. I would be very grateful as I can’t decide which one I like best.

Excellent work!! I like no.3 🙂
Good oh Caroline, I’m bound to say I’m happy this is the choice as it’s the one I’m drawn to also. Thank you very much for your appreciation. I have just had professional photographs taken, please see the next post, I’m really impressed with the photographer. Very best wishes.
the oxidised polished one makes more of the texture
Thank you Tanya. I have to say I feel that also, the beauty of punches is the textures you can create, why hide it with polish alone eh 🙂 Great to get your opinion.
I like number 3
Thank you Marilyn. Number 3 looks to be the winner, only one vote for the first, none for the second.
As you already know Stuart. My opinion is that`s the best one ever. Without a doubt!!!
Cant wait to see studs, earrings, cufflinks, cuff and bracelet to go with it.
Thank you Paul. I have a new lease of life right now, I will have more designs to show in the upcoming month. Lets hope that you and I, not forgetting the rest of the Truro College clan, get some well needed new outlets, or I’m going to have to get a – Cough cough splutter splutter – proper job. Aaaaarrrrrrrgh 🙂
wait, that’s chased? I saw it and thought chased with divots from the back and reticulated. sorry for posting on your pieces from soo many blogs back but I just got on this site, came across your stuff and wanted to check it all out. The pieces look great and number 2 all over polished is my fav.
Fantastic to have you aboard, you are very welcome. Thank you for your choice, I look forward to hearing from you again, please let me know if you would like me to cover anything specific. very best wishes
Oxidised! 🙂 I am partial to that finish as I use it a lot myself…
Quite right, I feel the same. The oxidised finish, to my mind, helps to accentuate the different levels that the repousse and chasing present, giving far more visual depth and separation of the different textures.
Oh well you can’t win them all eh 😉
Don’t laugh though, one lady commented as she handled it, her nose wrinkling; “eww that reminds me of erupting pustules”.
